Between the Bridges
30 x 30 cm
Acrylic on wood, mounted on a small wood cradle.
Our neighbourhood nestles between two bridges, farmland developed in the late 1800’s. Rougher textures of painted barn board contrast with concrete and canal water. Go ahead, this one is quite tactile. The simple geometry of it also makes me think of a child’s building blocks!
Cold wax finish gives this a beautiful luster.
