Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering

How is my payment handled?

If you have a Canadian bank account, I appreciate using e-transfer as it saves me fees - please contact me to make arrangements, rather than paying through the checkout.

Otherwise, payments are taken by PayPal in Canadian dollars. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit details.

Shipping

I have placed my order. How soon will I receive my artwork?

Most orders will be packed and shipped with 5 working days. Most Canada deliveries arrive within 3 days from the time of shipping. Please allow 8 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes. Please send me an email and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is in Ottawa.

Is shipping included?

Yes, most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.

Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions, especially on air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.

What about large or high-value artworks?

I appreciate this is a high value purchase - and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Larger paintings require a bespoke packing and shipping costs need to be quoted individually - please send me an email so we can discuss shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. If you buy online first in order to secure the painting the shipping cost will be billed separately after agreement. If you are in or near Ottawa, it may be possible for me to deliver it to you myself.

How will my painting be wrapped?

Paintings will be carefully packaged using corner protection, bubble wrap and cardboard. Each one is unique so I take care that it is well packaged and that it arrives in perfect condition.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. Outside of Canada, the USA and the European Union, shipping will need to be calculated. Please send me an email so we can discuss the options; or if you want to secure this painting, you can pay for it now and we can add shipping costs later. If none of the options are acceptable to you, I will cancel your order and issue a full refund.

International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

Returns

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and any fees.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days. Please photograph the damaged packaging before opening and photograph any damage to the item.

​What about international returns?

At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of Canada.
